icon_32_people.pngThe Members page will allow you to invite, approve, remove, and make an individual an organizer (or "co-administrator") of your wiki. All FPS staff and students have accounts. Please contact the administrator for more information.

icon_32_computerlock.pngPermissions allow you to set permissions for your entire wiki, specific levels of users, and or specific pages. The Wiki, Custom, and Page Permissions are described below.

A) Wiki Permissions are for you entire wiki, including all pages.

B) Custom Permissions control who views, edits, and creates pages and who posts to discussions.

  • Selecting “Everyone” means anyone including anonymous users.
  • Selecting “Signed-In Users” means anyone with an account in Farmington Public Schools.
  • Selecting “Wiki Members Only” means only those you allow (other teachers or students).
  • Selecting “Organizers Only” means only you, or others your designate as organizers.

C) Page Permissions lists individual pages with unique permissions. Note: Individual page permissions are set in Manage Wiki
> Pages >click Actions >Page Permissions.

icon_32_envelope.pngInvite People allows you to invite people to your wiki by entering email addresses or existing wiki user names. Note: At this time, you may only invite FPS staff and students. New accounts will not be approved.

icon_32_user_creator.pngNote: At this time, FPS students and staff have accounts and no new accounts can be created. If active, user Creator allows you to create users accounts. A convenience is that email addresses are not required. Once you have created the user names and passwords, you inform each user of his/her login information. Follow the four steps to create these users.
